Which is exactly what will happen anytime lots of users request
something that you "ignore long enough". The interfaces that people
actually use the most (TSVN, Subclipse, etc.) will find a way around it
that isn't as clean as if it were officially implemented. The situation
you end up with is exactly the one you were trying to avoid.
