New Danish translation of subversion

Hi,

I am starting a new translation of subversion into Danish (da).

The TRANSLATING file mentions that the subversion project prefers if
translations are done by more than one person. My intention is to do an
initial translation and send it to review with the Danish translation
team (dansk at klid.dk). This should ensure that the translation is done
by more than one person.

Now I have some questions that I hope you can answer:

 1) I noticed in the COMMITTERS file that translators have svn access,
 so where do I request it?

 2) Does "string freezes" exists in the subversion project? If yes, what are
 the usual timelines up to a release?
