Do you get a lot of demand for the binary packages? I rarely download a
binary RPM from any but my distro's repository, and instead use source
RPM's from 3rd parties. A source RPM should be as supportable as a source
tarball, since it contains the same stuff but archived differently for ease
of building in an RPM package-building system. In fact, if a single spec
file is included in the tarball, you don't even need the source RPM. You
can rebuild with "rpmbuild -ta tarballname".
