RFC: make check & deleting of working-copies

Hello everybody,

I've noticed that "make check" (in my case with FS_TYPE=fsfs) uses about x MB
in the repositories/ -hierarchy and about x MB in working-copies/.

Now if there was a way to make the working-copies smaller (say, by deleting
all wc's with successfull tests) it would certainly run in a ramdisk (I'm
thinking about ramfs/shmfs in linux), which would speed up the tests some
bit.
