Move the Norwegian svnbook translation to the Subversion tree?

After having a brief discussion with dionisos on irc I’ve been thinking
of moving the Norwegian translation and development of the svnbook from
its repository at http://svn.sunbase.org/repos/svnbook_nb to the
Subversion tree.

There are two reasons I’ve postponed this move and kept the development
in its own repository: don’t want to bother non-Norwegians with (for
them) uninteresting commits, and also trying to not increase the size of
trunk more than necessary. The current checked-out size of
doc/translations/norwegian_nb/ is now 3.2 megs, but this will increase
to about 7.5 megs, with .xcf (Gimp) files for the diagrams and such.
Also, the XML files contain the English text as in this example:

    <!-- @ENGLISH {{{
    <para>Now you have a personal copy of part of the repository in a
      new directory named <filename>project</filename>. You can edit
      the files in your working copy and then commit those changes
      back into the repository.</para>
    @ENGLISH }}} -->
    <para>Nå har du en personlig kopi av en del av depotet i en ny
      katalog kalt <filename>project</filename>.
      Du kan redigere filene i arbeidskopien og deretter legge inn disse
      forandringene inn i depotet.</para>

Until now, the English sections have been removed before they were
transferred to the Subversion tree, but if I move the development to the
Subversion repository, these sections have to be present to make it
possible to merge in new changes that happens in the original svnbook.
The English text will not be present in the final HTML files, as all
comments are stripped away.

So. What is the best solution? Should it be moved, or stay in its own
repository?
