Hi,

Well, there is no specific transport encoding other than compressed
connections, if you ask neon to do so. But the files are sent as binary
difference against an empty file. See the documentation in the notes/
directory in the Subversion repository.

If I may ask: why do you want to know? And why is this a question for the
developers list (and not users@)?
