svn/svnadmin freezes (timeout in select)

Hi,

Until now, I hadn't any problem with svn. But a "svn ci" froze and
I had to interrupt it. I wanted to do a "svnadmin verify", but it
freezes too. My machine is a PowerBook G4 under Debian GNU/Linux
(testing/unstable).

I've attached the gzipped result of

  strace -r -o strace.out svnadmin verify svn

interrupted with Ctrl-\ (Ctrl-C had no effect).
