I don't believe anyone will be confused by it. It is a release
candidate which does imply that we think it is stable. Sure we found
some bugs in it but we've found more serious bugs in some 1.0.x
releases, should they be changed from "Stable?"

If there was a way to completely avoid using the flags I'd say we
should. But there isn't. Since I'm never going to be posting anything
other than tarballs that we believe to be stable there, i don't see why
we shouldn't just always use stable.

Incidentally, i initially set them to draft and sussman convinced me
otherwise.
