[i18n][French] I'd like to join french translation group

(this might be a duplicate message, but I'm pretty sure the previous didn't work
properly...nasty webmail :) )

So, as I said before :

I've just read the subversion changelog, and it says that people are wanted to
translate subversion.
I'd like to be member of the french translation group, or create such a group in
case it doesn't exist.

My profile :
- I'm enterring last year MBA with joint honours computing
- I've already done some minor translation work (most important was a few things
for Motherboard monitor)
- I'm a java programmer (not very good, but enough I hope to be able to
understand code, and what to translate :D )
- I'm a Subversion user (both svn server, and svn client (command line and via
Subclipse plugin)

I am willing to translate svn commandline stuff...I can give a hand for the book
too...

I'm totally new to this kind of project organization, so I'd like to know :
- the procedure to have a svn access
- is there any existing translation guidelines, apart those from the hacking
guidelines ?
- I've checked the trunk code, and I've found the french directory...very old
stuff inside (7months+ old...) : is there a "french maintainer" or so ? are
there still people working on it ?

here it is...sorry again if this post is a dupe, some mailing problem (solved by
now)..

Julien
