Thanks, that was really helpful.
Some tips for TRANSLATING: I'd explain better what "make locale-gnu-po-update"
does and I'd move that section ("Updating") right after "Verifying", since
it's more likely to be used later.
I'd also point out that .mo files should be copied where svn expects them, if
you want to test them, usually /usr/local/share/locale/XX/subversion.mo,
where XX is the language code.
