The fact that it theoretically takes more time to get the HEAD fulltext
in FSFS, and the larger the repository gets (actually, the more
revisions of a file it contains), the longer that will be.

Of course, the timings Tobias posted later seem to indicate that I'm
wrong. Certainly, FSFS uses more CPU time, but far less wall clock time.
Seems like we're doing something very fishy with BDB.
