Well, we could ask translators to subscribe to a specific list
in order to organise the translation effort further. I am thinking
that subscribing to dev@ might be an obstacle to those interested mainly
in translating because of its volume. That list could also be used for
sending statistics on the po files. If we have such a list, the need
for a translators list (as in manually maintained file) somewhere else
is also reduced.

In this particular case that would be the list to forward the patch to
and (hopefully) receive the comments required to get an impression about
the quality of it.
