Do we still have a patch manager?

Hi, Sander Roobol. Pardon me if you sent a mail about this already --
I don't remember one, and don't see any in the mailing list archives.

It seems quite a few patches have come to the list lately, but have
not ended up in the tracker via to the usual algorithm (wait for
feedback, see if the thread resolves itself first, etc). I'm pretty
sure that some of them *should* have ended up in the issue tracker,
according to this usual algorithm...

Some possibilities:

   1. I didn't follow the threads carefully enough, and therefore am
mistaken in thinking that these patches were the sort to be
grabbed by the patch manager, or

   2. You've gotten swamped and don't have enough time to do patch
      management lately, or

   3. Something else :-).

If (2), no problem at all, of course -- just let us know. I've saved
most of those threads, I can go back and "manage" the pending patches,
and then we can find a new patch manager for the future. The work is
very valuable, so we shouldn't let it go undone.

(Or if (1), then, er, my apologies)

Thanks,
-Karl
