Book question - Use short hand format for the arguments ?

Hi !

Can't remember, but should all command arguments use the short-hand
format ? Just read doc/book/book/HACKING, and it doesn't mention
arguments at all.

Was wondering, because as I was reading chapter 4, "Data Lifetimes", I
found the following in the prose:

And now your branch is gone. Of course it's not really gone: the
directory is simply missing from the HEAD revision, no longer distracting
anyone. If you look at an earlier revision (by means of svn checkout -r,
svn switch -r, or svn list -r), you'll still be able to see your old
branch.

And some more in the following paragraph.

I can submit a patch, if wanted.

Bye !
