Book review

I read through the entire book as it is right now on red-bean.com
(Revision 9015).

I didn't do a pass through it looking for anything specific, or trying
to catch every instance of something, but just a generic review,
commenting on what happened to notice. It got late (or rather, early)
on the latter part, so accuracy may have suffered. I also tried to err
on the side of too much commentary - since useless comments cost very
little in time.

I also stumbled on a few trivial typos and such while going through
the book, which I fixed directly.

All of the commentary is in the doc/book/REVIEW file - although I have
no idea if that file is pertinent anymore. Atleast it seemed to have
some outdated review points still. And again, if it wasn't the proper
place, atleast it is a place where people will see the comments and
can remove as they are handled.

I am mostly away during the weekend - so any feedback may have to wait
until monday.

But,

"What commit is this of which you speak?"

"I speak of none but the commit that is to come after me!"

"I know nothing of future time, yet in my teeming circuitry I
realize that there must come a time when the Subversion
repository is up again, which I am not worthy to estimate,
but it will be my fate to eventually commit in."
