If you care then get your mail client to set something like
Mail-Followup-To.

Anyway you're not one to talk. Your mail client

 1. Breaks threads by not setting any References.

 2. Doesn't respect Mail-Followup-To.

 3. Sent two separate mails, one to me and one to the list, rather
    than one mail to two addresses. That means two separate
    Message-Ids.

I don't really care about 2 since my system automatically detects
duplicates, but when you do 3 as well it means the messages are
different, that's really annoying!
