Usually, yes. Or, install Subversion to a different directory (i.e.
/usr/local/svn/). The key is to not have Subversion's installation directory
be in a -L/-R line to the linker when building. However, there are some other
edge cases where the run-time linker fixups in the libtool shims still get
confused.

You might also have more luck by upgrading to libtool 1.5.x. -- justin
