FWIW, SVN 0.37.0 w/ BDB 4.2, also completed correctly, though it had the
same sort of latency issue as 4.0.14, though only over half an hour to
finish up the post-transmit stage of commit (rather than days). Seems
like the stability issues were specific to 4.1, which is not
surprising, considering some other issues we came across with NPTL
support DB4.1 and Fedora.
Not sure exactly how this would compare with CVS, but considering the
size of the repository (429M/30,777 files), it's not too discouraging.
Have you seen this sort of latency? In any case I'll try different
variations just to be sure.
