I think we have a consensus: a few votes either way aren't going to make much
of a difference; so let us conclude the vote. ;-)

Karl's comment in his vote was: "I volunteer to transfer all data from tracker
to file promptly, if that's how this goes."

I think the other consensus (unstated) was that it should live in the 1.0
branch. Is there any disagreement there? -- justin
