[BUG] please help! someone added a .svn inside subversion

My manager was help with the help files.

I managed to add .svn inside the repository. When someone does an update
it complains that .svn already exists. I'm stuck, really stuck. How do I
proceed? What should I do?

I was thinking of recompiling subversion with my infamous #ifdef
_WINDOWS to rename the working directory to be "_svn" however there is a
lot of steps before I can build this with Visual Studio.NET. Hopefully
someone has instructions on how to restore the database properly or undo
the change or something like that.

Can someone add a check inside subversion to make sure that the working
copy is not added to the repository? Never undersestimate the ability of
a user to screw a repository...

Please CC me directly on any response as I'm not a member of the list.
Thanks.
