The revision number have been my frend for a long time and is (the way I
see it) a very valuable timesaver for tracking, talking, co, export and
much other stuff I can't remember or think of right now.
I like the revision number, and my impression is that revision numbers
are very importans for many users :-)

Yes, the solution above is not to good (but not to bad either), I have to
think about it.
