A lot of Windows viruses use .xxx.yyy extensions because of the way
Outlook sometimes displays filenames (foo.txt.exe is displayed as
foo.txt). The MIT mailhub maintainers made the somewhat bizarre
decision to reject all attachments containing two three-letter
extensions. They know that .tar.bz2 attachments commonly get caught by
that rule, but have not made an exception. I have no reasonable control
over that.

There's no good reason to try to accomodate my broken mail hub unless
you're trying to get my attention in particular. But in this case, a
text file attachment would have been fine.

(If you are trying to accomodate my mailhub, and need to send a
compressed tarfile, .tar.gz works fine.)
