True, the [UninstallRun] must still be used. I will have to use one of
the programs aviable who is made for this (as shown on IS news groups).

I allways google first :-).
I think "net start" can be very useful for deciding if the service should
be restarted or not and then take some action.

I need to know where the apache service is (Inno Setup Extentions have a
native mutex function for this).

I guess I stick with the registry and promt the user for the path if
needed (and if apache are installed of course).
