As the previous poster said, a google search could have put that to
rest. With all due respect, you didn't looked closely, when you
looked. Transaction support for MySQL is available for about 4 years
in the stable release.

Don't take this wrong, I am not meaning to advocate MySQL to you. Use
whatever fits your needs best. I just grewed tired to hear this old
argument *years* after the fact. Yes, it once was true. It isn't
true anymore for a long, long time.

And sorry to the rest of the list, who couldn't probably care less,
but I decided to go with a post to prevent that anybody else picks up
that (now) myth about transactions with MySQL.
