I would welcome the opportunity to maintain it even if it is by proxy. At
least that way I can learn how things should happen with the end goal of
learning what responsibilities ensure with committer privileges.

Learning the ropes as it were. It would be all to easy to just walk away
and forget this all ever happened, but I wouldn't be learning anything by
doing so.

I will do so in the future. Thanks. I would like to continue in the role,
even w/o committer privileges, like I said, if only so that the Mandrake
area receives the attention it deserves and so that I can learn how things
work around here.
