Re: svn commit: rev 7223 - trunk/packages/rpm/mandrake-9.1

I've attempted to comply with EVERY request that's come my way:

* Don't commit as often.
* Don't write as often.
* Don't quote so much.
* Comment the commits more in line w/ HACKING.
* Don't comment so much.
* Fix your word wrap.
* Your questions are irrelevant to our goals.

I haven't seen a lot of *help*. I've seen a lot of *complaints*. It's
one nit after another.

Even BEFORE I was given commit access.

So tell me, kind sir, before Ben's one comment to indicate the Makefile
is a complete rewrite, where exactly was all this help to get a leg up
on how the log should look?

I don't recall you volunteering to peer review my entry prior to
posting. Or anyone else, when I first started.

If someone RTFM's and still isn't quite getting it, isn't it more
community like for someone to say, "Hey, why don't you send me your log
entries prior to posting the next couple of times so that I can help you
get more familiar with what it should look like."

Where was the help????

All I saw were people pointing fingers. Did I miss something?

Should be more contrite just because every time I turn around someone
thinks that my words are useless anyway, and my opinions hold no value
unless I tow the party line?

Maybe you can help me understand how I *should* be feeling, instead of
how I am feeling.

Maybe I should ask for a single set of improvement goals, instead of
getting one email after another slamming me for yet one more thing that
just isn't right.

Inundated for attempting to comply. I'm only human. I can only take so
much abuse.

See Sander's and Ben's reply. Now those were helpful.
