I'm busy talking to our Sourcecast co-worker experts. I'll find out
today if there's any way to get a 'clean' URL to a source tarball
(i.e. no redirects.)

If it turns out the answer is "no", then I guess we can simply route
around the problem by mirroring tarballs "cleanly" on svn.collab.net.
