By not addressing the problem you are really forcing VS.NET users to do
1 of 2 things.

1) Not use subversion or
2) Branch the source code and fix the problem themselves and then
distribute the new branch to other VS.NET users.

I don't think you want either of these 2 cases to happen. In both cases
the subversion project looses.
