No, but renaming it does. Re-read the FAQ; by "hiding"
they meant temporarily renaming it and then rename it
back to ".svn" when VS.NET has started.

However, hitting Refresh in VS.NET still causes the
bug.

Not until someone changes ".svn" into something else
on Windows.
