So it's really just an annoyance, right?

Is it worse working against a remote machine? Is the offline cache
screwed up or unusable or something working remote?

I've never tried developing against a remote machine and am not set up
to try it at the moment, but I'm interested in this as we're starting to
do more web services/aspnet stuff and I will be hearing about it, I'm
sure, even if it is just an annoying message when VSNet opens a web
project. But I'd like to narrow in on exactly the scope of the problem
before trying to get changes made.

I do get the refresh failed warning when I open solutions with web
projects, but have just been ignoring it and seen no other problems so far.
