I use svn in all-lower-case-mode. Yes I also do this with these keywords.

It's been a while since I read the book, but now that you mention it, yes I
do. I also used to type head and base (which I use more often than committed)
in uppercase at first. When I discovered they can be used in lower case, I
immediately switched to lower case.

But as I said, I won't stop you from changing it...
