I did: :-(

1. Uninstall
2. Install => no PATH
3. Reboot => still not PATH
4. Uninstall
5. Install => correct PATH

Yeah, and it has been working for me several times with the same
machince, account, path, everything. It's just another Windows mystery
in long long line... :-) The only thing in Linux that is comparably
mysterious is PAM. :-)
