nospam 0.27 dump seems to be generating unloadable dump file

i was doing a 0.27 dump to restore to 0.29 and it seems that the 0.27
dump has
some filename corruptions. I have some filename of form

old/info/schools/lminniger@aol.com.desc

And this seem to be being saved as ....

Node-path: old/info/schools/lminniger@aol.com
.desc
Node-kind: file
Node-action: add
Prop-content-length: 10
Text-content-length: 0
Text-content-md5: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e
Content-length: 10

PROPS-END

Which is not loadable.

It is possible that that the original filename itself has a newline in it.
