I just want to chime in and say that development with CVS with Solaris
workstations and AIX NFS servers works really fine. All file access is
via NFS, even work spaces. Developers are not allowed to keep files
locally with the exception of test data (in one commercial setup I have
been responsible for). Trying that with Linux was another story.
