Repository wrecked again (using _local_ disk!)

Hello again,

I created a new repository but that is broken again:

[d:\apache]svnadmin recover p:\DevRep
Acquiring exclusive lock on repository db.
Recovery is running, please stand by...
Recovery completed.
svn: Berkeley DB error
svn: Berkeley DB error while opening environment for filesystem p:/DevRep/db:
DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database recovery

[d:\apache]svn --version
svn, version 0.25.0 (r6433)
   compiled Jul 10 2003, 22:05:10

P: is a local disk on a Windows2000 Pro machine (attached via USB 2.0).

I only did access the repository locally, using either the command line client or the Apache WebDAV module
( I learned from my previous experience).

The first problem took place when doing two things at the same time:

    - importing a project branch using TortoiseSVN 0.14.0, Build 38
    - checking out another branch also using TortoiseSVN

both actions took place on the same computer (my laptop) running Windows XP.
I used the URL http://raser/DevRep to access the repository via the WebDAV interface.

Tortoise stopped its work complaining about a WebDAV error (PUT on the importing end, GET on the checking-out end).
Afterwards the repository was locked (I guess), because all svn calls did not return.

Therefore I called "recover" (see above) to unlock (as suggested in the manual). Unfortunatly, with the above result.

What's wrong?

In case someone want's to take a look at the repository, I can upload it (Alas, it's 107 MB zipped!).
