Re: 80 (-9) issues left to reach svn 1.0 ... wow!

no, its not that sophisticated :)
-/+ is just the difference compared to the last posting, so you can
see a little if it is going up or down.

the idea of doing this came out of a discussion if svn will ever
reach 1.0.

at that time i thought:
- the number of issues is constant 80,
and i could not proove it and i could not explain it.
- so svn would never reach 1.0, but would end up
like openssl or many other oss.
- new features might be blocked until the release of 1.0,
and so there is danger of never getting these features.

half a year later (now):
- we are still at 80 issues
  i still don't know why ...
and 42 is more obvious ;)
- still no crashed repository (lost data).
- distributions start to add svn.
- people who never did version control before
  started using it.
- even oss celebrities started using it ;)
- there is still no conversion from cvs to svn.
- but it seems that new repositories use svn
  and not cvs any more.
- and people involved are not that restrictive
in blocking new features and there seems to be
an excellent mix for stability and new features.

i must say this is quite an impressive success for the whole project
and the people involved.
