Turns out the chronology I gave is not quite right. Mike Pilato can
give the correct answer on Monday (I'm talking to him on the phone
now). It turns out it's quite complex; I'll probably get it wrong if
I try again :-).

If there is anyone running a HEAD Subversion server with svnserve or
Apache 2.0.45 right now, it would be great if you could run stress.pl
and let us know how things go.
