OK, i can classify that as a luser problem, also known as a
documentation problem or it's not a bug it's a feature.

 /me thinks that a warning in cvs2svn would be appropriate here... hm...
 even better: don't allow it unless you pass --screwy-dates :-)

cvs2svn couldn't have helped here. I used cvs2svn to convert a
CVS repository to a Subversion repository. Nothing looked screwy
at all to cvs2svn. I then took the svn repo, dumped it, and
loaded the dump file into an existing repo.
