RE: Problem with checksums...

Perhaps we should add a configuration option to disable checksums?
Or at least force a recompute of them. Disabling them is good, especially
when investigating/testing various svn bugs.

 Anyone have any ideas?

It's a wild guess (since I haven't updated to checksum-containing code), but
I'd lay good odds that the CR, LF, CR/LF settings can mess up the checksums,
especially given the recent bugs uncovered (and since fixed) with svn:eol.

Incidentally, shouldn't UTF-16/UCS-2 files (I'm thinking XML, here) be
recoginized as text? UTF-16 is one of the encodings that all XML processors
are supposed to recoginize. Not to mention the 'default' encoding for
Unicode text on Windows (think Notepad or SQL Server). I'd like to 'svn
diff' SQL scripts.
