Well I had to "learn" it anyway, or more clearly, I learnt that it
existed. This is a new feature (or at least not present in CVS, I
don't know about perforce, arch & co), so people will need to be
acknowledged of its presence anyway, if you see what I mean.

Again, it might be more simple to learn "svn dir" for windows people
but is it worth a new alias ?
