Actually, I think it would be better to keep post-1.0 discussions
here. They're not taking up many resources, and in the long run they
may help us avoid painting ourselves into a corner.

I'm sure the result of a new list would just be lots of cross-posting,
because discussions about the future concern the present too. Up till
now, we've been careful not to fragment the development list (on your
advice, in fact :-) ). I think we should stick with that philosophy.
