I've done a very poor job of explaining what I'm doing. When C-mike started to
make his most recent changes I got lazy and started coding up some low level
support stuff. Coding fun, documenting !fun. Originally, I said I would post a
design document.

Soooooooo, I've stopped coding and started working on a starter document.
Will rtf and jpgs be OK for now?
