  I did spend quite some time the last couple of days with subversion.

  True, I missed the note of adding the BDB path to /etc/ld.so.conf, but
  I also misinterpreted this is as a mistake of subversion's build
  system.

  seem to have discovered.

  Now that I'm (finally :-) set up, I hope I can contribute to the
