That can be difficult to enforce. :-)

Is there a Win32-way of obtaining the *real* name of a file, without
stepping through the directory checking for matches?

GetLongPathName() looks promising, but I don't have an easy way of
testing...

Given that functionality, we could either generate "Warning: using Foo.c
for foo.c" or even silently DTRT.
