Commit currently broken?

I just updated to the latest (rev 1646) and everything seems to work fine
except commit. When I try to commit it just comes back with no messages.

It shows the "svn status" fine and the "svn diff" find and everything
else....just nothing happens when I try to commit and when I check, it
still shows that the file is changed.

Am I missing something? I've been lurking for the last 3-4 weeks but
don't recall seeing anything go by that indicated we couldn't
commit....unless the recent breakage in the testing code has something to
do with it, has that fully recovered yet?

 Thanks,
