I'd like to stress the "your time is your own" almost to the point of
rebutting Karl's bringing up the bug database :-)

Yes, it would be nice if people closed those bugs, but (IMO) having
interested people, enjoying their SVN coding, is a much better thing than
closing the bugs.

All that said: I think it would rock to have an internalized patch.
