Heck, let's make it a CGI script like tweak-log.cgi.

No, make that:

"Let's change tweak-log.cgi to tweak-rev-info.cgi and have it handle
author as well as log message."

Python is fine by me, though the current script is in Perl.

Now that we've said that, I must confess I'm instantly backburnering
it ;-). Other stuff to work on...
