Ha. Creating a new message instead of hitting "Reply" also helps. It
just to happens that I have a smart client that actually understands the
In-Reply-To header, and threads based on *that*. not the subject line.

But of course, who'd expect a standard that's only about 10 years old to
be universally followed in an industry that moves so slowly ... :-)
