It is. Yet another reason that the discriminating programmer prefers
4DOS/4NT rather than the MSDOS command shell. 4DOS has a 2K character limit
that can go to 4K after expansions. Still peanuts compared to Unices
shells, but a heck of a lot better than cmd.exe.

Of course, the truly discriminating prefer cygwin so long as it's bizarre
path munging doesn't get in the way.
