Yeah, Karl gave me a little tour.

When I'm working on GDB, I make a patch file for every change I commit
(for the sake of GDB's approval process, and because we do lots of
inter-branch merging, etc.); so the fast local diffs made me
incredibly happy. I recognize that that's a pretty mundane part of
the big picture --- sort of a cheap trick compared to some of the
other stuff you guys are dealing with --- but it made me very happy.
